I was born in North Wales, UK and spent most of my childhood roaming around the mountains on my bike or with my dog. Of course I understood that Snowdonia was special and beautiful but it wasn’t until I became interested in photography that I realised quite how wonderful the area was. My favourite times of the year are Autumn and Winter; for me these seasons render the landscape even more dramatic and enchanting.

Wood turning is a relatively new undertaking and I am constantly experimenting and trying new techniques. After half a day tuition I have studiously followed advice gleaned from YouTube videos and, being paralysed, have had to develop my own methods when certain things are simply physically impossible. It is a constant challenge and takes me far longer than it should, but it is satisfying to create.
